𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗖 𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗩𝗬 𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧 𝟲

We recently had this lovely 1930s Fleetmaster in, running a classic straight 6 with a Carter W1 carb.

The carb was fully stripped, cleaned and degreased, then put through our ultrasonic cleaner to make sure every passage was completely clear. It was then rebuilt using a full service kit to bring it back to proper working condition.

Once refitted, the difference was obvious straight away. The engine settled into a beautifully smooth idle, the kind where you can balance a pound coin on it without it moving. We did try a penny, but with the fan running constantly on this setup, it was just a bit too lively for that.

This is a proper old workhorse and now it is back running as it should, smooth, reliable and ready to be used.
