This one has been a journey.

The car originally came in for a power run and straight away something wasn’t right. It was down on power and the engine note just didn’t sound healthy. We flagged it at the time and not long after as the customer was driving around the engine let go.

Fast forward to now and the car is back with a fresh rebuild, a solid turbo setup and the right supporting mods, ready to be done properly.

We carried out a full custom Stage 2 calibration, developing it on the dyno with proper data logging and testing throughout.

The result
212.8HP from an N47 118D, and more importantly a setup that performs properly and consistently.

This is exactly why proper testing matters. Catching issues early can save engines, and building the calibration on a healthy setup is the only way to get results like this safely.

Every change was logged, checked and refined on the dyno. No guessing and no off the shelf files being thrown at it.
